Real Estate Company Biomedicum Helsinki, the owner of the buildings of the research and training center, is responsible for implementation of the construction projects, maintenance of the buildings, and real estate management.

The principal shareholders of the real estate company are the University of Helsinki, the Joint Authority for the Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa, the City of Helsinki, and Senate Properties. Additional shareholders are Alfred Kordelinin yleinen edistys- ja sivistysrahasto, Folkhälsans forskningsstiftelse - Kansanterveyden tutkimussäätiö, Jenny and Antti Wihuri Foundation, Employee Foundation, Minerva Foundation, Biomedicum Helsinki Foundation.

The managing director of Real Estate Company Biomedicum Helsinki is Hannu Tukonen.
